Best Colleges for NonDrinkers Named

Many students headed to college do not plan to drink alcohol for health, religious or other reasons. Many of these students do not want to be engulfed by the "drinking culture" that is prevalent on many campuses. It's just not their thing.

If you are a non-drinking student, or a parent looking for a college where your child won't be inundated by peer pressure to drink, there is now a list of the top schools where non-drinkers will feel at home.

The website BestCollegesOnline.com has devised a list of "The 10 Best Colleges for Teetotalers," where drinking is either not allowed or discouraged.

It's probably no surprise that the No. 1 school on the list is Brigham Young University, a college run by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where students are required to sign an honor code which forbids them to drink. But some of the others colleges on the list may surprise you.
